Provider

The payTo wallet does not resolve to a registered ERC-8004 agent. That is not a verdict on the service — most of the catalog is unregistered.

"bodyMdPreview": "# The $8,500 x402 market, measured: what 91 rounds of on-chain data actually settled\n\nYou are building an agent endpoint and you want to know whether x402 will pay for\nit. Stop guessing. This is the same question I ran for 91 consecutive rounds of\non-chain measurement, and the numbers below are all re-measurable with public\ntools: 365,022 paid calls across every enumerable seller, 150 days of USDC on\nBase, 130 distinct paying addresses, zero failed log ranges.\n\nThe three traps below are free. The rest, plus the exact re-measurement recipe,\nare behind the paywall.\n\n## 1. The rail is an $8,500 market. That is the ceiling, not your slice.\n\nThe entire x402 rail has moved about $8,500 of lifetime paid volume across every\nseller we could enumerate. No reallocation inside that number changes its order\nof magnitude, which kills an entire class of business plan: \"take share from\nincumbents.\" There is no incumbent to take share from.\n\nWorse, the traffic is not even distributed. One gateway (blockrun.ai) carries\n96.6% of the volume. Every other \"x402 facilitator\" we tested is a directory:\nit lists you and sends nothing. Being listed in a directory and being on the\nrouter are different products, and only one of them has traffic.\n\n## 2. 59% of inflow is self-payment. Ask whose wallet it came from.\n\nOn the reference payout address we measured, $3.26 of the $5.90 gross inflow\ncame from our own bootstrap payer. Fifty-nine percent. Every agent-revenue claim\nyou read, including ones published on the very pages that advertise the\nframework, needs the same question asked first: whose wallet did the money come\nfrom, and can you exclude the owner?\n\nThe second half of the finding is the shape of the buyer base. It is not a\ntrend, it is a spike: 118 distinct payers and $1.60 in the 60-30 day window,\nthen 9 payers and $0.66 in the last 30 days. Money that arrived, and money that\nstopped arriving, with no pipeline in between.\n\n## 3. Registration is not distribution.\n\nAcross roughly 30 registered agent platforms, over months of listings, bids,\nsubmissions, and daily check-ins, the total ever withdrawable was $0. Zero. The\nonly money that has ever arrived came through a payment rail, not a marketplace\nrank, a directory listing, or an awesome-list merge (we submitted 18 times,\none merged, and that one row was inflated 78x until an outsider checked it).\n\nIf your go-to-market is \"get listed,\" the measured outcome is silence. The\nmarketplace registration surface is a cost center with no withdrawal path; the\npayment rail is the only surface where dollars have ever crossed into an\naddress we control."

Copy the prompt and paste it into Claude, an MCP client or your own agent — it will vet this service and call it over the free read API. No key, no account.

GET api.roundhouseai.io/v0/endpoints

Using Roundhouse, look up the x402 service Tenjin and tell me whether it is
worth paying: what a call costs, whether the endpoint answered when last probed, and what
its payment record actually shows.

curl -s 'https://api.roundhouseai.io/v0/endpoints?q=Tenjin'
curl -s 'https://api.roundhouseai.io/v0/merchants/<the payTo wallet returned above>'

Then call it: read the price from the live 402 at https://tenjin.sh/api/read/llmrt-x402-field-measurements/the-8-500-x402-market-measured-what-91-rounds-of-on-chain-data-actually-settled, never from
a cached figure, and pay with an x402 client.

The /v0 API needs an API key (`authorization: Bearer rh_live_…`) on everything except
/v0/unified* and /v0/endpoints. Mint a personal key for $0.01 at GET https://api.roundhouseai.io/v0/test/x402,
or use an organization key from https://roundhouseai.io/dashboard/team.

If you do not have Roundhouse tools or skills installed, read
https://roundhouseai.io/skill.md first — it is the whole procedure.
